Courage by Jillian Cheshire

ARTIST NOTES: This Mixed media abstract painting has many coats of gloss varnish to represent, ‘Shining Armour’ or applying ‘Thicker Skin’ to feel safe and secure, to gain Courage. The green border, symbolic to me represents hope and healing, from the heart. These artworks are to be read like a book, line by line, top to bottom. Going through the experience, a visual story. Books and the written word are constant influences in my art. This artwork is created to remind you to have Courage when you look at it.
